We want to inspire a movement for service. We believe that the private sector is best geared to tackle some of the world's greatest social challenges, people are transformed. And we believe that when people are transformed, the business that they work for flourish.
Our founding team came together to create a Signature Social Impact Program in Honduras. We were a business business CEO and a business CFO, a surgery center Founder and a nonprofit Director, coming together to find the nexus of our work and to determine how we could do the most good for our patients, for our volunteers, for our employees and for our shareholders. An international medical nonprofit, One World Surgery, was born and the number of patients whose lives were transformed grew exponentially as business also thrived. The virtuous circle between meaningful service and personal, professional and business growth was achieved.
As we hiked a narrow mountain trail through pine forests to get to a remote, rural Honduran village to visit one of our surgery center’s patients, Andrew Hayek, our Chair, planted the seed. “Let’s build a company to replicate this.”
Now, we work to cultivate Signature Social Impact Programs for businesses across any industry. We help companies, as groups individual employees and as a single entity, find their purpose and the social impact program that makes sense for their work. And we cultivate programs that their people can get involved in.
